I had a leaking water supply pipe on Friday morning. Rang Scott and asked if any chance to fix today. “Well we have 8 jobs to do but I will try and fit you in. Expose the pipe for us and we will fix at around 12:30.” Well Tim, a lovely young man, very professional and efficient, arrived right on time and fixed my problem within the hour. Fairy Meadow Plumbing were always quick to respond to calls, arrived when stated, were professional and did a great job. I have used them twice. The first time was to fix a gas leak and the second to install a new water heater system. The time between quoting and job completing was very quick. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

From the first phone call to the end of the service, there is nothing that Fairy Meadow Plumbing could have done better. I have had another local plumbing company come out and “fix” the taps on our shower twice in the last 18 months, in total costing close to $3k. After the problem arose again I decided to contact Fairy Meadow Plumbing for help. The staff who answered the phone were calm and reassuring, telling me someone will be at our house early in the afternoon. Around 1pm I received a phone call just after lunch to advise a plumber will be here in approx 40 minutes. Right on time the van arrived at the front of our house. Both he and the apprentice were well-mannered, presentable and reassuring. They listened when asking what happened, provided feedback on thoughts on what the issue could be and explained a few scenarios as to how they may fix the issue. After they identified the problem, they explained how they could fix it, and the costs associated with it (much cheaper than previously paid for the “fix”). The repair was over quickly, and both tradesmen thanked me, made sure I understood what they did and left the area looking better than when they arrived! The only thing I would change is calling Fairy Meadow Plumbing the first time!

There was a blockage in our kitchen sink which was causing water to overflow out of the connecting laundry room. Rang up Fairy Meadow Plumbing a few minutes before closing time and they sent someone promptly over at 7am the next day. Problem was cleared and resolved within the hour, which they charged at a very reasonable hourly rate. Michael was extremely professional, great to communicate with, and gets the job done. I had a sewerage pipe blockage which had sent sewerage flowing around my yard and close to my house. I needed to contact a plumber that would attend ASAP outside of normal hours. One call to Fairy Meadow Plumbing was all I needed to make. One of their employees (Zeke) arrived quite promptly and set to work in trying conditions (rain and sewerage) to clear the pipe using a jetter. He was very knowledgeable and advised me the entire time what was happening and showed me what blockages he could see using the camera. In the end the blockage was cleared so my family could use bathrooms etc again, but it was evident from what we saw inside the pipes that further work will be needed. I won’t hesitate to use FMP to carry out this work as I trust their professional approach. I have used other plumbers in the past who just seem to concentrate on upselling services, I’m glad I’ve found one that I feel I can trust.

We had an underground pipe leaking and had Zeak from Fairy Meadow Plumbing come out to look for the failure in the pipe. He was very professional and friendly, happy to answer my questions. Being an old house it was a bit of a challenge to locate the pipe and then the fault but he persisted and managed to fix the problem. Price was fair considering the pipe was 1 metre underground and he dug it out by hand, no problem. Great job, thanks so much. Jeff.
